engage.
I am convinced that most men drift through life….disengaged. Not connected to their kids; not connected to their wives; not connected to their Creator; just drifting like shards of a broken shelter in the flood waters of a land overcome and destroyed. The battle for souls rages around them without recognition. It’s time for me to get plugged in. It’s time to engage myself in the work of the kingdom and in the lives of those under my charge. An engaged life is an abundant life.
“So those who were engaged in the work labored, and the repairing went forward in their hands, and they restored the house of God to its proper condition and strengthened it.” (2 chr 24:13)
“29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, 30 engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.” (Phil 1)
